Daniel Perry is the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Alpha Building Corporation, where he manages the finance and human resources departments. In his position, Mr. Perry is responsible for implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company. He provides hands-on financial management and controller functions and has an extensive background in all facets of accounting, financial leadership and treasury management.

After joining Alpha in 2008 as a Controller in the accounting department, Dan became an owner/shareholder in 2012 and was promoted to Corporate Treasurer, and was further promoted to CFO/ Vice President in 2015. Prior to coming to Alpha, Mr. Perry spent five years in public accounting before moving into industry accounting roles including Controller, Vice President and Treasurer, and possesses over thirty years of construction accounting experience.

Dan is currently the incoming President for the San Antonio Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and has been a board member and active participant in the organization since 2009. Mr. Perry is an advocate for community service and served as Chairman for Ducks Unlimited, Boerne Chapter, where he helped raise $600,000 for the preservation of wetlands and wildlife, as well as serving as a Committee Chairman for the March of Dimes, San Antonio Chapter from 1990 through 1995. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus since 2000. Additionally, Dan has served as Chapter Advisor to the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Texas State University for over 30 years.

Mr. Perry has been invited to participate in Texas State University’s Construction Industry Advisory Board, which mentors students in the University’s Construction program as well as providing advisory guidance to faculty and staff when requested.

Mr. Perry attended Texas State University in San Marcos and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting, management and marketing.
